Quadratic Equations

In mathematics, a quadratic equation is a polynomial equation of the second degree. The general form is

ax^2+bx+c=0

where x represents a variable, and a, b, and c, constants, with a ≠ 0. (If a = 0, the equation becomes a linear equation.)

The constants a, b, and c, are called respectively, the quadratic coefficient, the linear coefficient and the constant term or free term. The term "quadratic" comes from quadratus, which is the Latin word for "square." Quadratic equations can be solved by factoring, completing the square, graphing, Newton's method, and using the quadratic formula (given below). One common use of quadratic equations is computing trajectories in projectile motion.

Mary J. Blige

MARY J. BLIGE is one of those phenomenal artists that just gets up on stage and makes it look easy - every time - delivering over and over again! I love how she really tells the story of her songs with her performance and sings like she means it - with unparalleled passion. I've just heard recently heard her latest track I AM from the PRECIOUS soundtrack (amazing movie that I just saw today) and I'm really feeling it! Mary's next release STRONGER WITH EACH TEAR is another album that I'm looking forward to!

A Night At Fright Fest

For halloween i went to Fright Fest at Six Flags. I went on a bus ride with some of my family and friends i have known since i was little. It was fun going on a bus ride with friends and family beause i was able to pick pack up on the things me and my friends miss with each other. When we arrive at Six Flags thats when the games begun. People with costums on would chase after you and try to scare you. If you were not scared it really didnt matter they would try to scare you the best way they could. After being chase down by the scary faces and costums me and my cousin went to the batman ride. As we got seated on the ride and got strap in the cart being to move slowly and then blast off we were going through twirls and flips and going up side down. This was the best ride ever.

This Is It

Michael Jackson was know as the "King Of Pop", was an American musician and one of the most commercially successful and influential entertainers of all time. His unique contributions to music and dance inspired many others like myself. He did not just inspire young adults, he inspire children under ages such as five and six. Michael Jackson to me was a role model more or less a person who I was able to look up to. He was someone who never forgot where he came from and was not scared to be a child over again. To me he was actually a human being. Many people as far as the press and media and others judge him because he was going through a change in which resulted into him transforming his face by bleaching his skin and face. I do not understand why people judge him i just thought it was a typical human being who was going through some changes and was not happy with his self so he change his facial features. On the bright side Michael Jackson contribute the greatest hit songs that brought soul to pop and brought happiness and enjoyment to his songs.
These Were Some of his Greatest Hits;

2. ABC
7. Bad

Even though this great Pop Artist has passed away and now he is in a better place called heaven he is still presents in my eye's and he has left a great film for all of his fans and others to enjoy and watch to remember the real M.j. To see this film click here
When I watch the film I did not see the Michael who was going through problems or the Michael whom every body seemed to judge because of the way he look. I saw the same ole Michael who made the crowed go wild just by stepping on to the stage and the one who touch people hearts by the the words in songs. My teacher asked me to compare M.j. but i do not under stand how is that possible. He was one of the best and will always be the best he can not be compared to any artist because he had his own unique ways that made him who he is today and thats what people enjoyed about him.

R.I.P. Michael Jackson sunrise August 29,1958 - sunset June 25, 2009. You will be miss Michael.

Places I have experienced

I have traveled not to many places but i did go far. My mom took me to see many sights on the east side of the United States. We went to Alexandria Virginia where it is close to Washington D.C. I also traveled to Florida a nice hot area however the rains can kill the day depending on where you wanted to go. I went to explore the rest of NewYork because many of us live here and don't even know what this state can hold or have that might be of educational interest. I went to Ohio with family and i have seen how people used to live when there weren't any T.v or electronics to get in the way. i would like to travel to places outside the U.S like Guyana Bahamas Puerto Rico Dominica Republic Belize and Europe. I want to explore the sights and get out of the u.s and see the wonders of the foreign countries. One day it will happen.
